HOW TO
REGISTER
Membership is voluntary and is open to Non Profit
Organisations (NPOs) that subscribe to the aims and
objectives of the coalition. There is a fee of R
171.00 renewable on an annual basis, in order to
become a full member of the coalition.
Affiliated members receive a certificate and are
required to sign and subscribe to the SANGOCO Code of Ethics. Organizations are
also encouraged to obtain legal standing through registration with the
government.
WHY BECOME
A MEMBER
1. To
participate in discussion forums, events, campaigns and activities arranged by
SANGOCO (see our programmes).
2. To get a membership certificate.
3. To get a free
email address.
4. To get
information from our database free of charge.
5. Your
organization' s name in the database will serve as a marketing tool for member
organizations as they will be profiled along with SANGOCO. This is a benefit for
external networking opportunities that may come via SANGOCO either through a
national, international, or corporate agency.
6. To
receive SANGOCO's quarterly newsletter "Grassroots Update" free of charge.
7. To submit success stories
and events from your organisation.
8. To advertise on Grassroots
Update at no cost.
All paid up
members have voting rights within the coalition as well as the right to run for
SANGOCO governance positions
